GRAPHIC 45 - MOTHER GOOSE

The vibrant colours and detailed images allowed me to make a series of stacking boxes that would be ideal for a nursery to store all those little keepsakes. Each box was made out of two 12x12 sheets of cream card scored into nine equal squares.

KAISERCRAFT - THE LOOKING GLASS

As soon as I saw this paper I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. The bottle tells a story...

A glass bottle was used to represent the looking glass with Alice being visible "through" it. "Drink me" is a well known phrase but maybe the author intended this to have another meaning, "drink me and become intoxicated with me, its then you will go forward with no fear". The rabbit appears to be looking behind him, maybe he can hear the items jangling from the floating balloon and the Mad Hatter looks up as he sees it floating in. At times we are all curious about life and think that things are impossible, we are reminded that they are only impossible if we don't open our minds and try new things without fear of failure, its those days that will be ones to remember

GRAPHIC 45 TYPOGRAPHY

A little wooden suitcase was painted and covered in paper from the Typography range.  I kept the outside simple just adding a little bit of lace and ribbon.

Inside I made a little book from black cardstock, decorated it using some of the stickers and elements from other pieces of the paper.

The book was made with some pretty special memories of mine hidden inside.

GRAPHIC 45 SWEET SENTIMENTS

The more muted colour pallet and Victorian like images lead me to create my very own spring scene in a jar! (A friend donated the jar so I didn't have to eat all those pickled onions myself!)

A piece of floristry oasis was used to created the grassed area in which images that were cut from the papers were placed. Flowers were cut and rolled and a twig from a tree in the garden used to make a blossom tree. The domed area on top of the jar was made using a polystyrene ball cut in half, ribbons were added to represent those that hang from a May pole. A real fun project to do!

GRAPHIC 45 STEAMPUNK SPELLS

The vibrancy of the colours in this range make for a brighter side to a Halloween theme.

There were so many images to choose from within these designs, adding the orange ribbon brought it all together.

Items used:
Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells range
ribbons
Tim Holtz Gear die
black cardstock
Buttons and other items from stash

Graphic 45 French Country

Two different style frames were used to make pretty items that are perfect for that country kitchen look. The colours in this range have such depth and the images such wonderful detail.
